We
want you to enjoy your worship experience and feel like part of the
family. At Community Christian Church we're far from perfect, but our
members are friendly and truly care about you. The Christian
Churches or Churches of Christ,
are not a denomination, but rather a fellowship of Christian believers.
Formed in the early 1800's out of deep concern for Christian unity, the Christian
Churches now number thousands of
congregations with millions of members. Community Christian Church
members are a part of this heritage and fellowship of believers who would
rather be known simply by the name "Christian" than by the name of
any denomination.
The
Wednesday Night Prayer Ministry is dedicated to seeking resolutions for your
concerns. Write your prayer requests and drop them in the gold box in
the sanctuary. In addition to the Prayer Ministry group offering up
your concerns, your requests will be put in the bulletin the following Sunday
(unless marked "Private").
We are a dynamic church sharing the Word of God and making disciples for
Christ by: Exalting God; Encouraging Christians toward spiritual maturity;

We Believe: That Christ Jesus is the one and only Son of God, who
died for our sins and who rose from the dead (1 Cor. 15:1-8); That the Bible
is the inspired Word of God -- a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path
(2 Tim. 3:16); That every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23); That forgiveness
of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust
Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:16); That those accepting Christ should
repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him (Rom. 10:9 &
Acts 2:38); That the church is the body of Christ on earth and exists to save
the lost as well as edify the saved (Eph. 4:1-16); and, That Christ Jesus
will one day return for His people and reign forever as King of Kings and
Lord of Lords (1 Thess. 4:13-18).
