Spacious retirement living in 1, 2 or 3-bedroom units. Live in comfortable apartments with all utilities included, daily noon meal provided, full-size kitchens and 24-hour monitoring. Independent living in villas is also available. They range from duplexes to 5-unit villas and have attached garages, individual washer-dryer hookups along with 3-season porches; water and gas are included.
The main building has a beauty-barber shop, in-house bank, gift shop, library, cable TV and a full-time chaplain who conducts traditional worship services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Residents are encouraged to invite guests to the chapel services. Bible Study and Prayer are also held in the Chapel on Thursdays at 10 a.m.
The GLCH Gift Shop is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Beauty Salon/Barber Shop is open by appointment on Thursday and Fridays.
There is an intercom from each apartment to the Home Health Care Center for emergency calls, as well as smoke alarms and sprinkler system throughout the entire facility.
Many social activities are offered for residents and guests. Euchre is played on Mondays and Thursdays, beginning at 7 p.m. Scrabble is played on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. Bridge is played on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Bingo is called on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m. A Social Hour with coffee and donuts starts at 9 a.m. on Fridays.
